Technology is there for people.
I'm Klaus Schlender, a computer scientist with a Master of Science in Media Informatics. Through QuantumSolution, I personally guide website, custom software, and AI projects: from the first question to a clear solution people can use.
My path combines computer science, media informatics, research, and practical development. I completed my bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2016 and my master's degree in Media Informatics in 2021. I care about more than whether an application works technically. It matters just as much whether people understand it, use it effectively, and can maintain it later.
QuantumSolution is my freelance offering, with me as your personal point of contact. My role as managing director of Itlerhilfe OÜ is separate. I present experience from that company accordingly: another company's work does not retroactively become a QuantumSolution project. This clarity matters to me because good collaboration starts with statements you can trust.
Understand first. Then build.
For me, a project begins not with a list of technologies but with a question: What should improve for you? Perhaps your website does not answer customers' most important questions. Perhaps a recurring process involves too much manual work. Or important information is scattered across different systems.
I listen, structure requirements, and explain the technical options clearly. A small prototype can help test assumptions early. We then agree on the scope, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria. This turns an idea into a manageable first step rather than a large undertaking with unclear expectations.
Video with a clear purpose.
Video-enhanced web design can create atmosphere and make a technical idea easier to grasp. But a moving background must not obscure content or make a site harder to use. That is why the core message remains readable text; the video supports it rather than replacing it.
This website uses locally hosted clips and posters. Background videos play without sound and can be paused. Suitable versions are available for smaller screens. When reduced motion is preferred or data-saving mode is detected, the background control shows a static poster. File size, contrast, and loading behavior are as much a part of the design as the visual itself.
You start the following short example yourself. It is a symbolic AI visualization, not footage of a real client project. The example starts without sound; it shows an abstract digital workspace with a floating quantum motif. No external video service is embedded.
Web apps for real workflows.
A custom web app can make sense when spreadsheets, emails, and isolated tools reach their limits. Possible uses include organized data management, transparent approvals, or connecting existing systems through interfaces. The specific process determines which features are needed.
For applications like these, I consider the data model, user roles, and interface together. Who can view or change which information? How are errors explained clearly? Which steps need to be logged? These questions matter more than a long feature list. Python and Django can provide the right foundation, but the architecture still needs to suit the project and its ongoing operations.
Project communication on the QuantumSolution website takes place personally. I do not present this as an already available customer platform, automated invoicing function, or payment integration.
AI needs foundations you can verify.
What interests me about AI is its practical value, not the biggest promise. A useful task might be analyzing data in a structured way, finding information within your own resources, or supporting a recurring step in a workflow. Appropriate data, traceable results, and review by people with subject-matter expertise are essential.
My connection to research is documented in co-authored publications. In 2018, I co-authored a paper with Grit Behrens and Florian Fehring on data-mining methods for indoor climate indicators. Another jointly authored chapter covers the monitoring of air quality and wall humidity during the energy-efficient renovation of apartment buildings.
The INFORMATIK 2021 proceedings also include a paper by Klaus Schlender, Grit Behrens, and Reiner Creutzburg on training CNN models to segment interfering objects on building facades using infrared and color images. These are collaborative research projects, not work I did alone or a blanket promise for a present-day client project.
Local AI is also a technical option, not an automatic privacy guarantee. The deployment location, data access, model license, quality, and available hardware are assessed for each task.
What good implementation involves.
This website offers practical examples of my approach: content remains editable in native Divi modules, media and fonts are served locally, and administration features are access-controlled. Contact inquiries follow a clear process. These are specific decisions, not a general security or legal certification.
For me, implementation also means actually using the result: clicking through navigation, checking forms, viewing mobile layouts, and comparing metadata with the visible page. A technically successful build alone does not show whether people can use an application comfortably. Ongoing maintenance and clear documentation are part of the result too.
The examples from the current QuantumSolution site development were added at the update noted above. The article date is not the date of those later checks. I promise neither specific search rankings nor guaranteed availability, but a transparent way of working.

Let's talk.
You do not need a finished technical solution to get in touch. A short description of your situation is enough. Together, we will identify what information is missing, which first step makes sense, and how a website, web app, AI application, or training could support you.
